You may now authenticate a charge within the SharpSpring platform, if required by your bank or credit card. In the event a charge fails due to authentication problems, we’ll notify you by email and help walk you through the steps required to authenticate.
3D authentication is required for most online purchases. It requires users to take an additional step when a payment is being processed. Such as, entering a password or a code that was sent to a phone number associated with the credit card or bank account on file, to confirm the charge is valid. This is a process that many credit card issuers use to prevent fraud.
If a charge fails, you can now log in to the SharpSpring application and authenticate the renewal charge by going to Settings > Billing Overview or Settings > Monthly Plan Overview.
