Design personalized and relevant emails to your leads without the need for coding with SharpSpring's Email Designer. Create striking emails in real-time with the “what you see is what you get” editor in SharpSpring.
The following users can create and edit emails:
- Marketing Managers
Below is a breakdown of options available in the Send Settings menu within the Email Designer:
Subject - The topic, or Subject line, of the email
From Name - The name of the sender
From Email - The email address of the sender
Reply To - The email address the receiver should reply to. Uses the From Email by default
Can send multiple times to one person - By default, SharpSpring will not send the same email to the same contact multiple times. Selecting this toggle will override this feature and allow duplicate emails to be sent to the same contact.
Make Available in Contact Manager - Selecting this toggle will make the email be available to be sent at the individual contact level as a smart mail from the Contact Manager.
Send from lead owner when sending from automation engine - Selecting this toggle will override the From Name and From Email in Send Settings with the contact’s lead owner information, if one exists.
Content & Layout
The Content & Layout section contains drag and drop blocks that you can add to the Email Designer. First, drag and drop a layout block to your email and then add content areas to those layouts for further customization.
Content Areas - Text or image sections that can be dragged and dropped into layout sections in the email designer
Layouts - Sections used to hold various Content Area sections. Layouts come prebuilt with some Content sections already in them but can be customized for whatever content you’d like them to contain
In the Attachments section, you can choose to add email file attachments to the email from files you’ve uploaded to SharpSpring.
Email Standard Styles
In the Email Standard Styles section, you can select a default font text for your email, as well as edit the color for a number of different email sections, including the Header, Content and Sidebar sections, and the Email background.

In the RSS Subscription section, you can set up periodic emails to be sent out with a certain frequency based on new publications on your site. You’ll need to provide an RSS feed URL, declare a frequency level for how often you’d like new content emails to be sent out, and choose the list you’d like to send to. You’ll then just need to choose the number of posts to display, drag and drop the RSS layout widget you’d like to use into the email, and select the toggle to Enable.

Shopping Cart Abandonment
The Shopping Cart Abandonment gives you the ability to send out emails containing shopping cart information of transactions that were never completed. You’ll need to have implemented the Shopping Cart integration on the site you’d like to use for Abandonment emails. Once this is done, simply drag and drop the Abandonment widget you’d like to use into the email, and set up Shopping Cart Abandonment Settings for the site under Settings » Sites.
