Granular Unsubscribe enables you to give your leads the option to only unsubscribe from a portion or category of your emails, providing you the ability to continue emailing them based on their interests. This article is a guide for enabling granular unsubscribes, so that your leads/contacts may opt in for specific types of content you might want to send.
IMPORTANT! Once you have completed the setup process for Granular Unsubscribe, you are unable to create new categories or rename existing categories. Please review all of your categories and possible future categories in advance of completing the setup of this feature.

Follow these steps to set unsubscribe catagories.
Step Three: After adding the appropriate categories, you will then need to ensure all of your existing email content has been added into at least one of the categories you have created.
If you fail to assign all emails, your granular unsubscribe will not be activated
Step Five: When all of the emails have been matched to their respective category, save your changes and confirm Pending now says Enabled.
Step Six: You can test this by sending an email to a list that contains you or your coworker's email address. The unsubscribe link only shows up for bulk emails and will not show for a Smart Email send. Below is an example of what the page will look like for leads that choose to unsubscribe:
The granular unsubscribe categories that you just created will show up as checkbox fields under the Unsubscribe me from the following emails section when a lead clicks the unsubscribe link in their email.
You can see what category a lead unsubscribed from by going to that lead's contact profile. Click into Memberships tab and scroll down to the Unsubscribe Categories.
Congratulations! You have successfully enabled granular unsubscribe categories for your emails.
