SharpSpring enables you to create a list based on custom information you have on a contact. In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a list from any custom field.
The following User Roles have access to create lists from a custom field:
- Marketing Manager
Follow these steps to create the list.
Step One: Create the custom field you want to use if it does not currently exist. If you need help, click to review the article Creating a Custom Field.
Step Two: On the toolbar top right, click New, then on the drop-down select List.
Step Three: Within the Add New List pop-up, do the following:
- Enter a name for the list and a short description of the list.
- Check Rules Based.
- Click Create List.
Step Four: Scroll to Triggers & Filters section and click in the When a contact field, under Lead Actions, select has the field.
Step Five: Perform the following to create the list.
- Start typing the name of the field you want to use and select it. Then in the changes field, type or make your selection.
- Choose exactly and click Add Rule.
- Click Save Changes.
The following message is displayed at the top of your page till the list is complete.
