SharpSpring allows you to use Media Center assets on landing pages to queue a link to download locally to a machine. From there, using a snippet of code, the page can redirect to a thank you page from the same click event. This article will detail how to use a link to download media assets and redirect to pages.
The following user roles can create landing pages:
- Company Managers
- Marketing Managers
Landing pages are accessed through the toolbar.
Redirecting via Code
To edit HTML code to download a media asset and then redirect to a page, do the following:
This will change the browser’s location to the URL you specify.
Important: This procedure applies to landing page buttons only and is not intended for forms.
Note: You can optionally choose to give the download attribute a value. This will name the file that is downloaded locally to the user’s machine, although this feature is not supported in every browser.
