SharpSpring offers you the ability to dynamically segment tracked leads who visit your site based on what page they land on. In this example, we’ll create a list to segment leads based on visits to our Pricing page (www.sharpspring.com/pricing).
The following User Roles have access to create dynamic lists:
- Marketing Manager
Follow these steps to create the list of visitors.
Step One: On the toolbar top right, click New, then on the drop-down select List.
Step Two: Within the Add New List pop-up, do the following:
- Enter a name for the list and a short description of the list.
- Check Rules Based. You can add Manual too.
- Click Create List.
Step Three: Scroll to Triggers & Filters section and click in the When a contact field, under Site Actions, select visits the page.
Step Four: To complete the trigger, do the following:
- In the field, enter the website and select the timing.
NOTE: You can also optionally provide a referring URL, or where the lead came onto your page from. If you wanted this list to be populated only from leads who visited your page from say, Facebook, we could additionally add that here by selecting the toggle and typing in the URL (e.g. http://facebook.com/**). First you would click the checkbox next to Has specific referrer URL? , then enter the URL.
2. Click Add Rule. Notice that the Trigger is now listed.
3. Click Save Changes.
