SharpSpring enables you to group and report on multiple emails together by using email tags. This article covers how to setup email tagging, and shows how to filter an Email/Workflow Report based on tags.
The following User Roles have access to set email tags:
- Marketing Manager
Use these steps to set email tags on multiple emails. Scroll down or click to go to the Email Performance Report using Email Tags section.
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Content and on the drop-down, click Emails.
Step Two: Hover over the email and click the wrench icon to open the Email Designer.
Step Three: In the upper left corner of the email designer, click Edit Tags. Clicking this button will prompt a window where you can create, edit and manage email tags.
Step Four: Start to type in the Select a Group field, then select any pre-existing tags, or create a new tag by typing the tag name in the field and pressing the Enter key. Once you have tagged the email, you will see the email tags in the upper left corner next to the Edit Tags button.
Email Performance Report using Email Tags
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Analytics, then in the drop-down, click Email Reports.
Step Two: Email Tags can be used as filters within email/workflow reports.
- Within your report, click Filters, then select Filter By Email Tag.
- Choose the email tags you would like to see in the report.
- You can add other filters by send date, list, or list tag.
- Click Build Report.
