SharpSpring enables you to upload and store images and attachments on our Content Delivery Network (CDN). There are two areas in SharpSpring where you can add images and attachments to the CDN. One option is by clicking the +New button in the upper right corner of the app. The other option is to upload images and attachments in the email designer.
SharpSpring allows you to attach the following file types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, txt, docx, doc, zip, pdf, csv, xls and xlsx. It's recommended that you limit the size of your email attachments to around 5 MB.
The following User Roles have access to upload images and attachments to emails:
NOTE: We also suggest not sending zip file as an attachment. Zip files are likely to end up in a recipient's spam folder.
Use the following steps to upload images and attachments. If you want to upload from the email designer, either scroll down or click Upload from Email Designer.
Step One: On the toolbar at the top right, click the + New button, then in the drop-down, select Upload Email Media.
Step Two: On the pop-up top bar, click Upload.
Step Three: You can drag and drop the image/file or click Add Files to select the images/file you want to upload, then click Open. Once you have selected all the images, click Upload. After the file has uploaded, click Close.
Uploading Images and Attachments from within the Email Designer
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Content, then in the drop-down, click Emails.
Step Two: Choose an email and click the Edit Email button that looks like a wrench.
Step Three: Double-click the email content to open the inline editor or hover over the content block and click the pencil icon.
Step Four: On the formatting bar, click the + button and on the drop-down, click Image.
Step Five: On the pop-up, to the right of the Source field, click the file search logo.
Step Six: On the pop-up top bar, click Upload.
Step Seven: You can drag and drop the image/file or click Add Files to select the images/file you want to upload, then click Open. Once you have selected all the images, click Upload. After the file has uploaded, click Close.
NOTE: The file you just uploaded will be automatically selected if you want to insert it directly into the email.
