With SharpSpring, you have the ability to create powerful landing pages, built to convert, quickly and easily. For this particular use case, we want to be able to link out to those landing pages we’ve built in SharpSpring. We’ll cover how to get the URL for those pages in this tutorial.
**You must have CNAME settings configured before using this method to obtain landing page URL.**
Creating the Landing Page URL
Step 1: Navigate to “Pages” and select “Landing Pages” from
Step 2: If you’ve already built the landing page, navigate to the page you’d like to link to and click the pencil icon. This will take you to the Landing Page Editor. If it’s a new page, select the gray Options button, and choose “New Landing Pages”. Name your funnel and choose how many pages you’d like to include in the funnel. Click “Create Funnel”.
Step 3: Click on the “Page Settings” menu item on the left hand side.
Step 4: Under the Funnel Slug section, this will be what is appended to the URL after the domain to link to the top-level page in your funnel. For example, if we were building out a landing page on the domain blog.bryantobin.com and we had a landing page with the funnel slug “google-analytics”, our URL string would be blog.bryantobin.com/google-analytics .
(Note: Just including the funnel slug will link to the top page in your funnel. If you had a use case for wanting to link to a sub-page in your funnel, the URL string would look a bit different.
The URL would be the domain, followed by the funnel slug, followed by the hyphenated Page Title with .html appended on the end. If we had for example, a three page funnel with the funnel slug “google-analytics”, with “Page One”, “Page Two”, and “Page Three” as the Page Titles and we wanted to link to Page Two, our URL would look as follows: blog.bryantobin.com/google-analytics/page-two.html .
