SharpSpring enables you to manually attribute leads to a Campaign. You can apply Campaign attribution rules to assign a campaign to a particular lead even if the lead is already part of multiple other Campaigns.
The following User Roles can set campaign attribution:
- Marketing Manager
Use the following steps to to select the attribution.
Step Three: Scroll down to the Global Campaign Attribution section. If you are tracking multiple sites in one instance, enabling Global Campaign Attribution allows you to assign visitors who are tracked across multiple sites to campaigns, regardless of what site they convert on. Click the checkbox to enable.
Then select whether you want your leads to be attributed to the first or last campaign they visited.
- Always attribute the first campaign the user visits: This option means that the 1st campaign that brought the lead to the website will get the credit. If you're unsure of which of the options to choose, this is the recommended choice. Getting a lead to come to your site for the 1st time is the hardest thing to do.
- Always attribute the last campaign the user visits: This option means that the lead will always be placed in the most recent campaign that brought visitor to the website.
