The Media Center in SharpSpring allows companies to create trackable links for their content, to better understand what content is helping leads to convert. These links can be added directly to SharpSpring landing pages to easily distribute the trackable links.
Multi-channel marketing is a tactic where companies communicate with leads in various ways, i.e. 'channels'. In the lens of content marketing, a multi-channel approach is important as it helps us as marketers better understand when and where we are having the most engagement with our leads.
Is the promotional video we spent $$$ on getting more traction on Facebook, Linkedin, etc? By using Media Center links on our SharpSpring Landing Pages, we have a better understanding of the ROI the content on those pages create.
The following User Roles have access to create add media center links to landing pages:
- Marketing Manager
Follow these steps to link a media center asset on a landing page.
Step One: Make your you have created at least one Media Center asset and have generated a trackable link for the asset.

Trackable links can be labeled to preference, however using "Link for SS Landing Pages" will help make sure we use the correct link on the landing page.
Step Two: Create a Landing Page or edit an existing one.

Step Three: On the left side, click the + Add Content navigation element, then click ELEMENTS.
Step Four: Click the BUTTON, the hover over the content section that you would like that button to be placed. There will be a purple line in the areas of the content section where an element can be placed. Click in the purple area to place the button.
Step Five: Move back to the left side, click the Edit Content navigation element, then click the content section where the button is. Now click the BUTTON you added. Notice on the right side the Button properties editor opens.
Step Six: In the REDIRECT TO: Click MEDIA, then click the drop-down arrow and SELECT A MEDIA CENTER LINK.
NOTE: Once the page is published, clicks on this Button will direct to the Media Center asset. Media Center assets that are URLs will take the visitor to the asset itself (i.e. the webpage). Media Center assets that are file uploads will download the file to the visitors machine (i.e. downloading a whitepaper).
Step Seven: On the toolbar, click Pages, then Landing Pages. Scroll down to find your landing page. Hover over the page and click the right-side button to bring up an action list. You can Preview and check the button or click Publish.
NOTE: Once you click Publish, a pop-up will ask you if you are sure you want to publish the page.
IMPORTANT! If you want to unpublish a page, hover over the page and click the right-side button. Click Unpublish and a warning pop-up asks if you are sure, if so, click OK only if you are sure.
