SharpSpring allows you to quickly and easily create landing pages with forms that were also created within SharpSpring. In this tutorial, you will learn how to link a form to a landing page.
Add a Form to the Landing Page
Step 1: Create a form
Step 2: Create a landing page
Step 3: From the menu on the far-left hand side of the Landing Page Editor, click the Add Content icon
Step 4: Under the Elements tab, click Form
Step 5: Point to where in the landing page you want the form, and click that purple area
Step 6: From the menu on the far-left hand side click the Edit Content pencil icon
Step 7: Click the form element you just added, and choose the form you would like displayed under the Select a Form drop-down menu.
Step 8: Under the Override Redirect URL with a Page, choose a page in the funnel that you would like to be displayed after the form is filled out. You can also choose a custom URL by entering that url under the Override Redirect URL with a Custom URL field.
Step 9: Under Style, choose whether this form should take on the Form Theme (CSS entered in the Form Builder) or take on the Landing Page Theme that is a part of the form template.
Add the Form's Embed Code to the Landing Page
SharpSpring allows you to access the HTML, CSS and JS for each landing page. This step-by-step guide will show our code-savvy users how to access the code settings to add the embed code directly to the landing page.
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Pages, then in the drop-down, click Landing Pages.
Step Two: Scroll to select a page, then hover over it. When the edit buttons display, click the left Pencil edit button.
Step Three: On the left side, click the Add Content option to create the area where you want the form link to go. Then click Layouts and select the layout you want to add.
Step Four: On the left side, click the Edit Code option to bring up the HTML code window. Then scroll to find the line <div class=”empty inner-col”></div> and delete the word empty.
Step Five: Place the cursor in between the div tags and paste the copied Form code.
