The Media Center in SharpSpring allows you to create trackable links to better understand what content is helping leads to convert. We can use Media Center views to trigger automation, or filter certain automations to send if a lead only if they have viewed or not viewed certain content.
The following User Roles have access to create media center rules:
- Marketing Manager
Use the following steps to include media center views in automaton tasks and lists.
Step One: Make your you have created at least one Media Center asset and have generated a trackable link for the asset. Click here for help on creating an asset and trackable link.
Step Two: Select either a Task or List.
For a Task
On the toolbar, hover over Automation, then click Tasks.
Either create a new task or select an existing one that you would like to set a lead score rule to.
For a List
On the toolbar, hover over Automation, then click Lists.
Either create a new list or select an existing one that you would like to set a lead score rule to.
For a new list, select either Dynamic or Static.
Dynamic Lists: This list will build over time. You can start one from scratch, or pull in all the leads who qualify for the list based on the criteria at the time of build.
Static Lists: Static lists do not build over time. This type of list will essentially take a snapshot of your database and pull in all leads that meet the requirements at the time of list build.
NOTE: To view whether an existing list is either dynamic or static, open the list, look to right side, click Options. On the drop-down, click Change List Settings. The page will open, then you can then view the list type or add/change rules to a dynamic list.
Step Three: Select either trigger or filter.
Step Four: In the When a contact field drop-down, under Media Actions, select one action.
NOTE: For a Trigger, you can only select the option views the media.
NOTE: Media Center views will only trigger automation for known leads. Views by unknown leads will be tracked against the media center asset statistics, but will not trigger automation.
Step Five: Do the following to add the rule for media view.
1. Select the media.
2. Click the Add Rule button.
3. View the Triggers or Filters.
