For this example, a client reached out to use and wanted to know why her email had different lead owners when an email was sent to multiple lists.
SharpSpring has a feature that allows the user to send an email from lead owner when sending from automation engine. This means that each email will automatically show as being sent from the lead owner that is associated with that contact. If you are sending this email to multiple lists, that have different lead owners, then the email will be sent from those respective lead owners.
Here’s how to ensure that your email will be sent across multiple lists with just one lead owner.
Step 1: Under “Content” at the top navigation bar, choose “Emails” from the drop-down menu
Step 2: Find and open the email you want to send across multiple lists
Step 3: In the left column, under “Send Settings” scroll down to find the “Send from lead owner when sending from automation engine”
Step 4: Make sure this checkbox is empty, not checked
Step 5: Scroll up to the fields “From Name” and “From Email”. Here is where you designate the one lead owner’s email and name that you wish to send this email from.
