SharpSpring enables you to create reminders that help you keep up with leads assigned to you and your team. Reminders are designed to be used by users within their own instance of SharpSpring.
Step-by-Step Guide to set a Reminder
Step 1: Click on the thumbtack icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 2: In the side panel that appears, you will see any reminders, overdue or upcoming, set for yourself. You’ll see the reminder title, the contact the reminder is set on, when it is due, and an icon indicating the type of reminder (either general, email, or phone call reminder).
Step 3: To create a new reminder, click the (+) button at the top. A popup to schedule a reminder will appear.
Step 4: Fill out the reminder name, select the type of reminder (general, phone call, or email), and select who to assign it to.
Step 5: Select the “complete by” date by clicking on the date field, where a calendar will appear. The default date automatically schedules the reminder for 7 days out. Click “Specify Time” to select a specific time, otherwise the reminder will be “all day.”
Step 6: Check the box if you wish to send an email invitation to the reminder’s owner.
Step 7: Click “Set Reminder.” You have now successfully scheduled a reminder!
Note: If you want to create a reminder associated with a lead or opportunity, you can create one right from their contact overview page or opportunity page.
