Let’s review the navigation elements on the left hand side of the Landing Page content editor.
Add New Content: You can add pre-made content Blocks, Layouts, or insert HTML elements (Header, Paragraph, Header & Paragraph, List, Button, Image, Video, Divider, Blockquote, Form). To add Blocks or Layouts, simply click on the chosen design and the content will appear at the bottom of the editor panel on the right. To add Elements, select your element by clicking, and then click in the content section that you would like that element to appear.
Edit Content: When editing content, we have the ability to edit entire content blocks (“sections”) or specific content elements on a page. Double clicking allows you to edit both sections and elements. You can alternatively edit the properties of an element or section by right clicking and selecting Edit Properties. You can hide specific content sections from appearing on mobile devices (to optimize how our Call-to-Action appears on mobile devices) by going into the section properties and using the Hide on Mobile toggle.
If you have added a Form as an HTML element, you are able to edit those SharpSpring forms directly in the editor panel. Single click on a form element to open up the properties editor on the right hand side of the screen. From here, choose your SharpSpring form from a dropdown. If you need to make any edits to the form, double clicking on the form will open up SharpSpring’s form editor directly in the landing page editor.
Preview on different devices: The eye tool allows for device preview for your landing page. You can toggle between desktop, tablet, or mobile views by choosing the appropriate device in the upper right hand corner of the landing page editor. You will notice that any page sections that had Hide on Mobile toggle turned on will disappear when we enter into the mobile view. These sections will only appear on desktop and tablet devices.
Page settings: To set up the Landing Page Funnel Name, Funnel Slug (used to indicate the folder the pages reside, use “/” to indicate the home page), we will go into page settings. Part of creating Landing Page Funnels is including multiple pages within the funnel, and these additional pages can be created here by using the Add New Page button. You can configure the Page Title and Meta Descriptions on a per page basis, as well as electing whether or not to allow search engines to index the specific page.
As you toggle through the different pages of your funnel, you will be able to go back and add/edit content for each of those specific pages.
Auto save changes: By default, the auto-save feature is turned on to ensure the edits to your Landing Pages are saved in real time. If for some reason you would only like to save changes when you actively choose to, simply click this icon to toggle auto-save off.
