SharpSpring allows you to automatically unsubscribe a lead via an action group. In this article, you will learn how to create an action group that unsubscribes a lead from your emails.
The following User Roles have access to use custom syncing:
Follow these steps to create the unsubscribe lead action group.
Step One: On the toolbar top right, click New, then in the drop-down, select Action Group.
Step Two: Enter a name for the action group, choose other available options if needed, and click Add Action Group.
Step Three: Within the When and what section, in the drop-down, under Lead Edit Events, choose change lead field.
Step Four: In the text input field, type Is Unsubscribed and click to select the field.
Step Five: Change the drop-down selection to True.
Step Six: Click Add Action and then Save Changes.
Now that your action group has been made, you can trigger this with automation by setting up a Task, schedule the action group manually to a list, or schedule the action group to a specific lead.
