SharpSpring enables you to add and link an image to an email.
Adding an image to an email is a great way to grab the attention of the email recipient. It's important to remember to add a link to that image's source. If the image is not from your company, the link to the image's source will allow you to provide proper attribution to an individual's work. If the image is from your own website, then you are simply providing another method that the recipient can use to access a different part of your website.
The following User Roles have access link an image in an email:
The first part is to add the image to the email, then you will link it.
Add the image.
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Content and in the drop-down, click Emails.
Step Two: Either select an existing email or create a new one. If you need help, click to review the article Creating and Editing Emails.
Step Three: Hover over the content block, then on the top of the block, click the pencil icon or just double-click in the content block.
Step Four: Within the Content Editor menu bar, click the + plus button, then select Image.
Step Five: In Source, click the File Search icon.
Step Six: Click the image you want to use or click Upload to add a new photo from your computer. Then on the bottom, click Insert.
Step Seven: You can add an Image description and change the Dimensions, then click Ok.
Link the image.
Step One: Within the Content Editor, click the image, then in the menu bar, click the + plus button and select Link.
Step Two: On the Insert link pop-up, do the following.
- Enter the URL where you would like the image to link to.
- Add an optional Title.
- The Link List will automatically add a URL that is already associated with a media center link, a landing page, or merge variable.
- For Target, select New Window, then click Ok.
Step Three: Once you are back to the email, on the top right, click Save.
