SharpSpring enables you to track multiple sites within a single instance. The tracking code is what allows you to connect with the SharpSpring app and take advantage of all the tools SharpSpring has to offer. SharpSpring uses an asynchronous tracking code, meaning that your website will load, even if SharpSpring's servers go down.
Here's a quick guide on how to add a new website to your SharpSpring instance
Step One: On the toolbar top right, click the New button, then on the drop-down, select Site.
Step Two: The popup shown below will appear.
Step Three: Fill in the short name for your website, select the type of website, and insert the domain name.
Step Four: Once you click Add Site, you will see all of your active sites tracking. Select the site you just added, and it will take you to that site’s settings page.
Step Five: Select the Tracking Code tab, where you can copy the the tracking code and paste it onto every page (or a template) on your site, immediately before the closing </head> tag.
Note: You can also edit the campaign attribution and add landing pages to your site from here.
Step Six: Once you have properly pasted your code and waited 24 hours, you should see site traffic for this site in your instance, under the Site Traffic tab. The orange Pending tag will turn green and say Active once tracking is live.
