Excluding Domains: Video Walkthrough
The following video details the process to exclude domains from VisitorID results in SharpSpring.
To enter blacklist information and exclude a domain, do the following:
- In SharpSpring's top toolbar, click Contacts > VisitorID.
- In the left panel, click Options > Edit Blacklisted Items.
- In the text box, enter one of the following parameters:
• The domain
• The IP address
• The company name
Note: Domains match from right to left (example.com would match blog.example.com), and IP addresses match from left to right (127.0 would match 127.0.127.127).
- Click Add Domain.
Note: Hovering over an added item will display a red X button. Clicking this button will remove the item from your list of exclusions.
Leads with a tracked device will continue to show in VisitorID when they visit a tracked page of your site. Unknown leads from the blacklisted domain will not appear until the point at which they become tracked.
