Marketing emails are the voice of your company, delivering a message to your leads encouraging them to convert into sales. The SharpSpring email designer makes it easy to build marketing emails that effectively target and nurture your prospects. As you’re perfecting your emails, you might make changes and then want to revert to an older version. Good news: previously published versions of your emails are automatically stored for you in SharpSpring.
The following User Roles have access to view email versioning:
- Marketing Manager
Follow these steps to restore a previously saved version of an email.
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Content, then on the drop-down, click Emails.
Step Two: Start to type in the Filter Emails to locate your email.
Step Three: Hover over the email icon and click the gear icon, then click Previous versions
NOTE: If you want to go directly to the email designer, click the Edit Email icon.
In the Email Designer, if you want to see all versions, click the Options button and in the drop-down choose Previous versions.
Step Six: Click the version you want to open in the email designer then on the bottom right, click Restore This Version. Click Edit current version to revert back to the most recently saved email.
NOTE: The versions screen displays a live version of the page, as well as the previously four published versions.
Restoring a previous email will make it the current version, which you can edit.
Step Seven: While you are in the Email Designer make your changes. Once you have completed all edits, on the top right, click Save or any of the other options.
