Every email you send is different. Sometimes you’ll want those emails to come from a person and other times you’ll want them to come from your company or even a specific team. You may also want the reply-to email address to differ based on the email content. SharpSpring gives you the flexibility to make these changes on the fly per email, so you’ll always have the right contact information.
The following User Roles have access to perform this change:
- Marketing Manager
Follow these steps to change the email send settings.
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Content, then in the drop-down, click Emails.
Step Two: On the left-side panel, in the Filter Email field, type the email name, then select it.
Step Three: Once your email is open, in the left-side menu, click the Send Settings button.
Step Four: You can change the From Name, From Email, and Reply-To Email.
- The From Email is a required field.
- If you leave the Reply-To Email empty, it defaults to what is in the From Email field.
- Make sure the from email uses a verified domain or you will receive an error message upon saving. Click to review the article Domain Verification.
- If you would like the email to send from the Lead Owner when sent from the automation engine, at the bottom of the Send Settings click the box next to the statement Send from lead owner when sending from automation engine.
Step Five: On the top right, click Save.
