Campaigns in SharpSpring allow you to measure the success of your marketing efforts, so you can quickly see how many leads and how much revenue you were able to generate from that campaign. End-to-end ROI reporting is incredibly important in the marketing process. Whether you're posting to Facebook or running a Facebook ad, you want to see how many leads you were able to generate from those social media posts. In this tutorial, you'll learn how to set up campaigns for Facebook (and any social media platform) to be able to see how many leads come from Facebook.
The following users can create campaigns:

Follow these steps to set up a Facebook campaign:
Step One: On the top-right side of the toolbar, click the New button, then in the drop-down, select Campaign.
Step Two: Name your campaign and click Add Campaign
Step Three: Define the Campaign Type as Social Media, under Group Tags add Facebook, Under Planning designate Ongoing Campaign (no date range), and leave Costs & Goals empty, since this campaign is for all traffic coming from Facebook.
Step Four: Under Tracking select your website and add the four rules below. These rules will catch all visitors coming from Facebook, from both mobile and desktop.
Note: Most traffic comes from these four URLs, however there are additional referring URLs per social site.
Step Four: Under How Did you Hear About Us? you can choose to have this campaign as an option in the How Did You Hear About Us question on your forms by selecting Yes/No in the drop-down menu. The Alternative Display Name is what will appear on your form, so for this example we will call this campaign Facebook.

Congratulations! You've successfully set up a campaign for all leads who visit your site directly after visiting Facebook.
Here's how to test this campaign:
Go to your social media site (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc). Click on a link to your site from Facebook (this can be done with a private Facebook Status or an ad if you have one running). Navigate to a form on your site and fill it out, to become tracked in SharpSpring. Locate your profile in the Contact Manager and click into memberships to see your campaign.
Important: Campaigns are sorted by date the lead was created and only show primarily attributed leads.
