Merging Campaign Attributions
There may be instances where you want to carry over campaign attributions when merging contacts. A contact may have, for example, engaged with you twice through two different campaigns and used two different email addresses. Merging these two instances is key in keeping a clean contact list.

Once campaign attributions have been set, you can merge campaign attributions. To merge campaign attributions, do the following:
Note: If the primary campaign is chosen, all other campaign attributions will default to secondary.
Once the contacts have been merged, all campaign memberships from both of the contributing contacts will appear in the merged contact.
Once the merger is complete, the target contact is deleted from the database. Its content will be merged with the main contact.
