Do you need to merge two contacts together? If you ever find yourself in a situation where there are duplicate contacts in your SharpSpring account, then merging those two contacts may be the best solution for you. In this article, you'll learn how to merge information from one contact into another contact.
The following users can merge contacts:
- Marketing Manager
- SharpSpring MA
- SharpSpring Mail+
Follow these steps to merge contacts.
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Contacts, then on the drop-down, click Contact Manager.
Step Two: Locate the main contact that you want to be merged with another contact.
Step Three: Click the gray options drop-down to the right of the main contact and click Merge Contact.
Step Four: A pop-up will display with a search bar. Start typing the contact's name that you want to merge with the contact previously selected.
Step Five: Choose the fields you would merge then click Merge Contact.
IMPORTANT: Life of the Lead information and notes from the second contact will not merge -- information from the first contact will remain. Social network information will be updated within 24 hours.
