If you have an upcoming event or webinar then you may want to include a link in your email that goes directly to Google Calendar. In this tutorial, you'll learn how to create a Google calendar invite and how to put a link to that calendar invite directly into a SharpSpring email.
The following users can add a calendar invite to SharpSpring emails:

Creating the Google calendar invite
Step one: Create your Google calendar event and all the pertinent details.
Step two: Ensure that the calendar event is set to Public. Check out Google's help article for more information.
Step three: From the top right, click More Actions, then click Publish event and copy the second link in the pop-up. Paste this link into a text document for future reference.
Adding the calendar invite to a SharpSpring email
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Content, then in the drop-down, click Emails.
Step Two: Locate the email you would like that you would like to have a calendar invite, hover over it, then click the Edit Email button.
Step Three: In the Email Designer, click the pencil icon to edit a content area.
Step Four: Type the text you want to be displayed when visitors click the calendar invite. Highlight that text, then on the top menu click the + Plus button, and on the drop-down, click Link. You can also enter this information in the Text to display field on the next window.
Step Five: Paste the Google Calendar URL that was copied in the Creating the calendar invite section at the top of this article into the URL field. Click the Target drop-down, select New window, then click OK. Click Done and make sure to Save these changes.
Step Six: You can attach this Google Calendar Invite URL to any link, including an image or a button. This tutorial shows how to set up a basic hyperlink, but this can be applied to buttons and images as well.
Congratulations! Now when a lead clicks this link in an email it will open the event in their Google Calendar where they can save it. Check out the example below:
