If you have an upcoming event or webinar then you may want to include a link in your landing page that goes directly to Google Calendar. In this tutorial, you'll learn how to create a Google calendar invite and how to put a link to that calendar invite directly into a SharpSpring landing page.

Creating the Google calendar invite
Step one: Create your Google calendar event and all the pertinent details.
Step two: Ensure that the calendar event is set to Public. Check out Google's help article for more information.
Step three: From the top right, click More Actions, then click Publish event and copy the second link in the pop-up. Paste this link into a text document for future reference.
Adding the calendar invite to a SharpSpring landing page
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Pages, then on the drop-down, click Landing Pages.
Step Two: Locate the landing page you would like that you would like to have a calendar invite, hover over it, then click the pencil icon to edit that landing page.
Step Three: In the Landing Page Designer, from the menu on the left click + Add Content and under Elements click Button. Then, place that button into your landing page by hovering over the landing page and clicking when a purple line appears.
Step Four: Click the button that was just added. A menu will appear on the right. Under Set a Custom URL, paste the calendar link that was copied in a previous step. Under Set Button Text add the text you want to be displayed when visitors click the calendar invite.
That's it. Everytime a visitor to your landing page clicks that link, they will be taken to their Google Calendar where htey can add the event directly to their schedule. This can be used for meetings, webinars or any event that you'd like to schedule with your prospects.
