Make it as easy as possible for your known leads to move through the funnel using Autocomplete for your landing page forms. You relieve the effort of data entry, which dramatically increases form conversion, while also giving leads the ability to make updates as they see fit.
The following User Roles have access to create to set autocomplete on landing pages using forms:
- Marketing Manager
There are three sections to set the autocomplete and the steps to do so follows:
- Copy the Form Code
- Paste the Form Code
- Publish the Landing Page
IMPORTANT! Before you can set autocomplete on a landing page the CNAME must be set up. If you need help doing so click to review the article Change Landing Page URL - Add CNAME Record.
Copy the Form Code
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Content, then on the drop-down, click Forms.
Step Two: Select the form you want to embed, then scroll down to the Preview section and on the bottom, click the Embed Code button.
Step Three: Within the text area, select and copy all the code to clipboard.
Add the Form Code to the Landing Page
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Pages, then in the drop-down, click Landing Pages.
Step Two: Scroll to select a page, then hover over it. When the edit buttons display, click the left Pencil edit button.
Step Three: On the left side, click the Add Content option to create the area where you want the form link to go. Then click Layouts and select the layout you want to add.
Step Four: On the left side, click the Edit Code option to bring up the HTML code window. Then scroll to find the line <div class=”empty inner-col”></div> and delete the word empty.
Step Five: Place the cursor in between the div tags and paste the copied Form code.
Publish the Landing Page with the Form
Step One: On the left side, click Page settings.
Step Two: On the right top of PAGE SETTINGS, click the PUBLISH button.
Step Three: A pop-up will display notifying you how many published versions there are and that you can edit and republish them. If you are ready to publish, then click Save & Publish.
