Every email send results in unopened emails. SharpSpring provides two methods to send emails to those leads, making it easy to drive re-engagement and increase the chances of converting them to sales. This article provides the steps to schedule emails to those leads either from a Saved Email Report or by creating a Static List.
The following User Roles have access to schedule emails to leads with previous unopened emails:
- Marketing Manager
Use these steps to schedule emails from both a saved email report and a static list. There are two sections. Scroll down or click to Schedule from a Static List.
Schedule from Email Report
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Analytics, then in the drop-down, click Email Reports.
Step Two: Select one of the following:
- Email Report – Select a single or multiple emails.
- Emails with the tag - Select all emails with a given email tag.
- Emails in a Workflow - Emails that are included in a Workflow in SharpSpring.
You can add filters to the Email Report including Send Date, List, or List Tag.
After you select the email, tag, or workflow a + button displays. Click +, then on the drop-down, select and complete the filters you want to use.
Step Three: Once you have made all your selections, on the right-side, click the Build Report button.
Step Four: After your report refreshes, on the right-side, click Save Report. On the pop-up, add a title your report, then click Save.
Step Five: Once the page loads, on the right-side, click Options, then click Send Email and select Send Email to Unopened.
Step Six: Within the pop-up, click the circle next to the name of the email you want to send, then choose Time/Date. On the bottom right, click Schedule Email.
Step Seven: A pop-up window will ask if you are sure you want to schedule this email. Click OK if are ready to schedule the email.
Schedule from Static List
Step One: On the toolbar, hover over Automation, then in the drop-down, click Lists.
Step Two: On the right-side click Options, then click New List.
Step Three: On the pop-up Add New List, name the list and be sure to keep the toggle on Rules Based, then at the bottom right, click Create List.
Step Four: Scroll down to the Dynamic or Static section, click the circle next to Build only once to make this a Static list.
Step Five: Move down to Triggers & Filters. Click the Add the Rule drop-down arrow and scroll to Email Actions, then select has not opened the email.
Step Six: In the field, start to type an email title and choose the email, then click Add Rule. You can add additional filters to the list. Once you are finished with the selections, on the bottom right, click Save Changes.
Step Seven: On the right-side of the list name, click Options, and on the drop-down select Send Email to List.
Step Eight: Within the pop-up, click the circle next to the name of the email you want to send, then choose Time/Date. On the bottom right, click Schedule Email.
Step Nine: A confirmation pop-up displays the current job details, if you agree, click Send Email.
