SharpSpring is built to accommodate all types of marketing agencies and the relationships they have with clients. Some agencies choose to allow their clients to have hands-on access to SharpSpring. Those clients will therefore have access to client services within SharpSpring that have charges associated with them. To ensure clients do not incur charges in excess, SharpSpring allows agency accounts to set client allowances.
The following User Roles can manage client services and allowances:
Use the following steps to manage and set allowances for your client services.
NOTE: This feature is only available for Agency accounts.
Step One: On the toolbar, click the User Settings button, then on the drop-down, click Settings.
Step Two: Within the left-side Settings panel, under the Agency Tools section, click Manage Clients.
NOTE: If you have yet to create a client account, you will not see the options to manage client services. To learn how to create a client account, click to review the article Adding and Managing New Client Accounts.
Step Three: On the far right of the client account you want to set service allowances for, click the Options button, then on the drop-down menu, click Services and Allowances.
Step Four: Use the inputs to set the Maximum Monthly Charge for the following services:
- Direct Support
- Email Syncing
- Litmus Testing
- Shutterstock Photos
Step Five: Choose who will be paying for these additional services. You can directly bill clients, or pay for the services through your Agency account. Once you have set the allowances, on the bottom right, click Save.
IMPORTANT! When a client account reaches the set allowance for the services above, the following warning message will appear to the User.
