As a marketer, you’ll likely create an email and make incremental changes to perfect it along the way. SharpSpring allows you to send yourself a preview so you can get a fresh perspective on your email and see how it will appear to a recipient who is using your email client. Keep in mind that a preview email will not populate merge variables nor will it be DKIM authenticated.
The following User Roles have access to preview emails:
- Marketing Managers
Follow these steps to send an email preview.
Step One: In the toolbar, hover over Content, then in the drop-down, click on Emails.
Step Two: Within the left-side panel, in the Filter Email field, type the email name, then click the title to open it.
You can also scroll to find the email and click the wrench icon to open it.
Step Three: On the top right of the email designer, click the Options button, then in the drop-down, select Send a Preview Email.
Step Four: A pop-up will display, enter your email address. You can also send the preview to multiple recipients by adding a comma after each one. Click Send Preview and check your inbox.
NOTE: Preview emails can be sent to role addresses (sales@, info@, support@). Emails sent via smart mail, bulk sends, or notifications are unable to be sent to role addresses.
