What is Ads Retargeting?
Ad retargeting uses ads across multiple channels like web and social media, to remind visitors and potential prospects to revisit a product or service they were already interested in. Retargeting is what keeps them coming back for more.
How does Ads retargeting work?
Using the Lead Gen & CRM tracking tag you added to your page, we are able to cookie unique visitors anonymously when they land on your website, and add them into a group we call an Audience segment.
Please note: With our platform, you are also able to create audience segments from contact lists as long as you have their email address. Visit the “lists” section of our app to “Retarget lists” of 100+ contacts.
Next, you would create a campaign to serve impressions to your audience(s). An ad retargeting campaign is a list of instructions that tell our system how to buy ads for your business. When creating a campaign, you tell us who to target, what ads to show those people, when to start showing those ads, when to stop, and how much to spend each week.
Once you've built a sizable Audience, you can create campaigns to serve ads across several different ad networks and ad exchanges. We work with more than 100,000 websites including all sites in the Google, Microsoft, OpenX, and Rubicon Project networks as well as social media. Dynamic campaigns are also an option with our easy Shopify integration.
When your audience sees these ads, they are given a subtle reminder of why they sought you out in the first place and can convert into customers or potential leads

Who is a good candidate for Ad retargeting?
Ad retargeting works best for online businesses with high-volume website traffic and must be compliant with our Advertiser Quality Guidelines. If your site receives less than 1,000 visitors per month we recommend driving more traffic to your site to reap the benefits of Ad retargeting. The larger the audience, the better your campaign will perform.

How much does it cost?
Ad retargeting is available in Lead Gen & CRM Essential, Advanced, and Ultimate plan tiers. There is a $25 weekly minimum ad spend that goes directly toward your campaigns. Campaigns will not really perform with any less.
How do I get started?
1. Create a site.
Click on Ads in the left toolbar. Then, Create a Site. If you've already installed the Lead Gen & CRM tracking code, you're set up for Ads as well. Enter the domain for one of your Lead Gen & CRM sites.

2. Create a conversion goal.
A conversion goal is an action you're looking to track on your site. It's what you want the visitor to do: buy something, sign up for your service, create an account, etc. Select the conversion method, revenue value, and how conversions should be counted.
3. Create your first campaign.
Create a campaign by clicking on the +New Campaign button and select between Web, Facebook, Mobile, Video, or one of our Dynamic options. Choose your audience targeting settings -- who to display ads to, and who to ignore -- and then give your campaign a budget. Lead Gen & CRM works as hard as possible to spend the full campaign budget, but will never spend over the set budget.
