10 December 2018: Updated Magic Trick for Agencies

Agencies only:
Agency administrators now have access to an updated Magic Trick. The Magic Trick now includes new features, including:
- Visual Workflows
- Email templates
- Landing pages
- Dynamic content
Go to User Settings > Settings > Magic Trick, uninstall the old version, and install the new version.

13 November 2018: Convert Legacy Automation to Visual Workflows
|
|

|
Users can now manually convert all of their Tasks and Action Groups built in the legacy editor to the Visual Workflow Builder:
- All active automation will continue to
function normally during and after the conversion process.
- You will no longer have access to the
Tasks page during and after the conversion process.
- You will receive an in-app notification
when the conversion process is complete.
That means that any legacy automation can be turned into visual automation.
To do so, go to Automation > Visual Workflows and click Convert to Visual.

31 October 2018: Exclude Lists from Email Sends

Users can now exclude lists from email sends in a new email sending screen.
When sending an email to a list, choose the lists or list tags of members you do not want included in the send under the Exclusions section.

Users now have access to new triggers and filters for opportunities and accounts.
You can create automation for lead actions based on changes to an opportunity or account field.

10 October 2018: New Company Profile Fields for Agencies

To help potential clients find your agency quicker and easier, make sure you fill out the new fields on your Company Profile. SMBs can search for you based on:
- Certification level
- Services offered
- Industry specialization
- Location
- B2B/B2C focus
Go to User Settings > Company Profile and make sure everything is up-to-date under Agency Information.

Users now have an updated navigation menu at the top of their platform.
Administrators and Company Managers can toggle between a Marketing menu and a Sales menu, making it easier to switch between lead generation tools and sales tools.

Users can now access the File Manager when adding an image to landing pages.
This File Manager is the same one used in emails, allowing users to access any uploaded image used in emails and place these uploaded images within landing pages.

Users can now add a signature in Smart Mails.
This signature can be created by adding HTML to the Custom Email Signature settings under User Settings.

Users now have access to https:// links for their landing pages, adding increased security and improved search engine optimization (SEO).

Users can now set the sidebar on the left side of the Sales Pipeline to refresh at different intervals.
The sidebar can be refreshed manually, be set to automatically refresh every 5 minutes, or be set to automatically refresh every 15 minutes.

31 July 2018: Updates Due to Facebook's Policy Changes
|

Facebook recently made a policy change that will affect SharpSpring Social: users can no longer publish posts to personal Facebook profiles via SharpSpring.
You can still post to public pages that you manage, such as a business page. However, you can no longer publish posts directly to your personal profile.
This new Facebook policy impacts every social media management tool, not just SharpSpring.

You can now send a Smart Mail without leaving an opportunity.
Go to your Pipeline, click into an opportunity, and click the Options button next to the contact to Send Smart Mail.

Custom Email Signatures are now available.
Go to User Settings > User Email Settings to enter and configure your signature.
Then, place this signature as a merge variable in your emails to automatically pull in the signature of that lead's particular lead owner.

15 May 2018: GDPR Settings for Landing Pages

Users can now add a cookie banner to landing pages.
When enabled, visitors can select either Accept (to allow tracking) or Deny (to prevent tracking).
SharpSpring users can customize the text, theme color, and links of these banners.
These banners are important, as they allow visitors agency to determine whether they want to be tracked, and the banners also allow visitors to view your Privacy Policy.

Users can now create a time-based action group using the visual editor.
To get started, go to New > Action Group, select use visual editor, select Create a time-based action group with the custom date/time field, and choose a date/time field.
In addition, users can now download an entire Visual Workflow as a .PDF file.

Facebook has made some recent policy changes that will affect some of SharpSpring's social listening features.
Users can no longer search for Groups, and they can now only search for Pages that they own.

Users can now create reusable visual action groups with a visual editor.
To get started, go to New > Action Group and select Use visual editor (recommended).

Users can now add a Fixed-Size Image element to emails and email templates.
The image element is responsive, while the fixed-size image element does not change size—regardless of being seen on desktop or mobile.

Users now have the option to suppress recipients at risk of unengagement when scheduling an RSS-enabled email.

You can now view landing page actions in the audit log.
These actions allow you to see when a user has created, published, unpublished, and archived a landing page.

You can view the funnel URL for a landing page directly in a landing page's left menu.
Before, this was only available when you visited the live page.
Now, you can view it both in the Page Settings menu and in the drop-down menu next to Save and Publish.

If you change the funnel slug for a landing page, visitors to the previous URL will now be redirected to the new page.
The landing page builder now shows a notification after successfully saving and successfully publishing.
