Video Calls provide a quick and convenient way to communicate with team members, leads, or clients who work remotely directly from SharpSpring.
Video Calls let you initiate a peer-to-peer (P2P) call with both audio and video to leads or your team members.
This article will detail how to utilize the Video Calls service in SharpSpring.

Calling Team Members from the Toolbar
You can initiate a Video Call to a team member and other users in your instance from SharpSpring's top toolbar. To call from the toolbar, do the following:
- Click Team Call in SharpSpring's top toolbar.
- Do one of the following:
• Select the desired users from the Select the name... drop-down menu
• Click Copy link to copy the Video Call link for use in an email or other communication
• Click Send link via email to automatically insert the link in a new email
- Click Start Meeting.
- Click Allow in your browser's permissions window, if necessary.
- Complete your Video Call.
- Click
Leave.
Invites are sent to your selected users as emails. Users in the application are also notified at the top of the window. Users that join the meeting will be prompted to enter a username and password. They will need to use their SharpSpring credentials to enter the meeting.

Note: Clicking Generate Link will copy the unique URL to your clipboard.

Important: A new, different link will be generated for each Team Call. The link will expire after the meeting, which will render it unusable for future Team Calls.

Calling from the Contact Manager
You can initiate Video Calls with contacts directly from the Contact Manager. To call from the Contact Manager, do the following:
- Click Contacts > Contact Manager in SharpSpring's top toolbar.
- Click
Options > Invite to Video Call next to the name of the desired contact.
- Enter a personalized message in the Enter a message field.
- Click Invite and Start Meeting.
- Click Allow in your browser's permissions window, if necessary.
- Complete your Video Call.
- Click
Leave.

- Click the name of the desired contact.
- Click Video Call.

Calls with Multiple Attendees
Video Calls with team members or contacts can be configured to have multiple attendees. You can manually add attendees to a call. To add multiple attendees to a Video Call, do the following:
- Initiate a Video Call from one of the following locations in SharpSpring:
• The top toolbar • Contact Manager • Contact Record
- Click Allow in your browser's permissions window, if necessary.
- Send the copied generated Video Call link to other users or contacts.
- Complete your Video Call.
- Click
Leave.
When sending links, consider sending them in an email body to multiple users or leads via Smart Mail.

Note: If you initiate a Video Call from the Contact Manager or Contact Record, you can generate a Video Call link in the call itself by clicking Share Link/Info and copy the link that appears.

Note: There is no limit to the number of attendees that can be part of a Video Call.
|

Initiating Video Calls
Once you initiate a Video Call through SharpSpring, your browser will open into the call window.
From there, you can communicate with your team members, instance users, or leads.
Users on the call will be listed at the top of the call window. A moving blue light next to their name indicates that they are speaking in the call.
The window displays a number of different options and settings:

|

Shares your screen with the individuals on the call. Shared screens can be set to display the entire screen, the application window, or the browser tab.

Makes known to the others on the call that you need assistance or have a question. An icon will appear at the top of the call window next to the name of the caller that raised their hand.

Open/Close Chat
|

Opens the text-based chat panel. Individual chat messages can be entered. |

Mute/Unmute
|
|
Mutes or unmutes your audio device. An icon will appear at the top of the call window next to the name of any callers that are muted.

|
|
Leaves the call. |

Start/Stop Camera
|

Starts or stops your video device. An icon will appear at the top of the call window next to the name of any callers that have turned off their camera.
