Edit Layout Block Format
Layouts do not need to be, in a thematic or design sense, the same throughout your email. You can edit individual layout blocks to meet your needs.
To edit layout block formatting, select the email from the Email section of Lead Gen & CRM's left toolbar.
- Hover over a layout block.
- In the green highlighted section, click
Edit Block.
- Edit settings as needed in the Layout Editor panel that appears.
- Click Done.
Available Layout Editor settings are as follows:

|||
Background Color | Fills the area with a solid color behind element content.
Border Color | Sets the color of the border that surrounds a layout block.
Border Size | Sets the size of the border that surrounds a layout block.

Resizing Layout Blocks
You can only resize existing layout blocks by editing the email's source code.
The easiest way to use a differently-sized layout block, is to select a new layout block from the Themed or Simple tab, with either 1, 2, or 3 columns. Move your content into the new layout block and delete the old one.
The height of your layout block is determined by the amount of content that has been added into your layout block. Without editing the email's source code, the height of your layout block is not restricted. Read Using Layout and Element Blocks in Emails to learn more about adding a layout block to your email.
- To edit your email's source code, click
Options.
- Click on View Code.

- In the window that appears, edit your source code as needed.

Resizing Elements
You may resize elements from the Email Designer Panel, which appears after clicking on the element. Read one of the element-specific articles below to learn how to resize and customize elements.
