Is each filter tested in Workflow Automation

Hello Dave! Good question! The filters are evaluated at the time of trigger activation, so as long as those filters are all met at that time your lead will receive all (3) actions.

If I'm understanding the question ... the filters are presumably (at least visually) executing at the same time as per the image below. But that can't be the case especially since the filters in his question are not mutually exclusive. It's my understanding that a record cannot go down multiple filter branches as that would cause a serious mess with things like many emails being deployed, or conflicting actions.

What I like to do is actively make them mutually exclusive to be sure that I don't worry about conflicting actions.

I would be curious however to understand the order that filters get checked. In the screen below - which one is checked first for example.

Hi Craig. Leads can go down multiple branches within a Visual Workflow if all conditions are met by the filters at the first level. The trigger is the most important point of consideration here. The filters are secondary and are evaluated at the same time (once the workflow has been initiated with the trigger).

You want to treat these filters on the same level as equal and simultaneous since they're all on the same level within the visual workflow.

Thanks for the feedback. This helps with our design approach.
